In Gonaives, Haiti, the population loots a World Food Program location

After the scene of looting recorded at the Caritas office in Gonaïves, the population looted the premises of the World Food Program (WFP) in the middle of the day on Thursday, September 15, 2022.

Despite the interventions of the police who launched tear gas, this did not prevent more people from investing in the premises to obtain food supplies stored in this space.

In the midst of looting, a fire of unknown origin broke out on the premises of this international organization. Without firefighters, officials are content to observe the damage.
